Postgraduate Medical Education

At any given time, P2P has dozens of physicians and other professionals working diligently to contribute to supporting post-graduate medical education and helping to strengthen health systems in Ethiopia that benefit pivotal institutions, hospitals, and medical schools throughout the country, all of which benefits both undergraduate and post-graduate students alike.

P2P has developed Task Forces in the fields of Basic Sciences, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Emergency Medicine, HIV/AIDS, Palliative Care, Geriatrics, Research Sciences, Neurology, Public Health, ENT, Infectious Disease, ICU, and Ethiopian National Medical History. These committed, high qualified, and reputable individuals are the spark that helps to ignite change in hospitals and medical colleges throughout the country. These persons, along with the consultative teams they have built, provide support in various forms, from case consultations, to curriculum development & review, to instruction (both in-person and virtual), to providing other means of support as requested. These task forces enable various professionals to exchange their experiences, support each other, and address some of the challenges observed in their shared endeavors. These activities are done in coordination with the appropriate and relevant bodies, including the Federal Ministry of Health and the Federal Ministry of Education, as well as various Universities and Medical Schools, to find appropriate solutions.
