In 2012 P2P launched a mentorship program for students and young adults in the U.S. to connect those in need of tutoring or guidance or seeking exposure to a new field with mentors that have the resources and willingness to help. For this program P2P is accepting applications from both mentors and mentees on an ongoing basis. Pairings will be made according to availability. As an extension of the concept of care for AIDS orphans, P2P established a boarding and care facility for orphan girl students in good academic standing in the rural town of Amanuel at Machakel District in Eastern Gojjam in collaboration with the local community.
